Watch Out – PSN Might Get Hacked Again This Weekend
For the love of all that is good… In retaliation for the way Sony handled the PlayStation Network breach, a group of hackers (presumably the same hackers who took down the PSN and stole your data) are looking to hack the system again this weekend. Yup, just as the PSN is set to come back online, they want to fuck everyone in the most uncomfortable of places. I’m not talking about the back of a Volkswagen.
According to CNET , chatter on IRC has indicated a new attack will go down this weekend. The hackers are claiming to still have access to the Sony servers, which I don’t necessarily buy since the network was locked down by three forensic security firms and moved to a new physical location. So, you hack in and steal everyone’s personal data, then you get called out to Congress, then you threaten to hack the network again because you got called out? Smart. Really smart. This whole ordeal has been an utter clusterfuck. There’s no other way to put it.
