  1. Long but so is the topic
I usually get turned of by books this big as I assume they are badly edited. However, before this I read many books on JavaScript and while I learnt a lot from each one I never quite got my head around the more complicated parts of the language such as inheritance until reading this book. 'Pebble is a heat check for Tiger'

Onto this week’s events and the ladies head to the Composite Course at Royal Melbourne for the first time to contest their Australian Open.

The tournament is co-sanctioned with LPGA Tour for the first time, which means the best of the best join us this week.

Six of the top 10 players in the world are here, led by the world No.1 and current Australian Open champion Yani Tseng. Our home-grown talent will be headlined by three-time Open winner Karrie Webb.

The European Tour remains in the Middle East for the third straight week, this time for the Dubai Desert Classic.

Headlining the field are the world No.2 and No.3 players in Rory McIlroy and Lee Westwood.

Seven Aussies are in the field this week, led by our highest-ranked player in this year’s Race to Dubai, Matthew Zions. Keep an eye out for Richard Green, because he has a good record around this layout having won over a decade ago.

The PGA Tour this week moves to one of my favourite places on the planet, Carmel Bay in California for the AT&T National Pebble Beach Pro-Am.
