Christ Church kicks off Black History Month with Diversity Day

STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — Christ Church New Brighton, whose congregation has grown into a diverse population of many nationalities, will host its annual Diversity Day celebration tomorrow to mark the start of Black History Month.

Parishioners, some wearing costumes from their native countries, will perform songs and dances and recite poems and other readings during the free event. Ethnic foods will be prepared and served by members of the congregation. Festivities begin at 11:30 a.m., following the 10 a.m. service.

WordPress Bible: 2E Released (and a contest) — Technosailor.com

A few months ago, I let you know that WordPress Bible: Second Edition was available for pre-order. That's changed. It is now out and available to be ordered. Amazon, as usual, is the best way to order it.

This edition of my book has 60 pages back in it and covers up to WordPress 3.1. So all that stuff about mail formats, the types of custom messages, custom taxonomies, the union of WordPress MU WordPress as a multi-center, the terminology changes ... all this .... covered in this book.

I have not done everything right in the first edition.There were obvious omissions, politically incorrect moves (like the coverage of non-LPG) and obvious errors. These have all been corrected in the second edition.

I would love the book and who have supported me. Please leave a review on Amazon as it helps drive more sales and demonstrate how the market for the book.

But here's the question ... WordPress how can the Bible, and the entire Bible series, to be better? If you have more than one, what you feel the strengths and weaknesses of the books are. Where can I (and Wiley) improve. This feedback is super-important.Feel free to write me up if you do not wish to publish information in the comments....
