Infragistics Acquires SouthLabs

Recommended Book: jQuery In Action

As good as the documentation of jQuery is that I generally prefer to take a good book every time I want to learn something new. And if you're new to jQuery, jQuery in Action Manning is almost perfect for pick up. E '(of course) begins with the basics, moving continuously, while others almost never show too much new things at once. You'll quickly become familiar with the basic principles that the book revolves around jQuery and then gradually builds up to each chapter.

I'm not going to go over everything that is covered in the book (just check the list of contents here), but I can not imagine you have any questions left on jQuery after finishing this book. Everything is explained very clearly and accurately and the authors do an admirable job of avoiding the boring parts. The only time that is (predictably) less interesting (although I would not call it boring) is when you are presented with a lot of documentation reference-like. In most cases, only a few pages, but sometimes it's just a bit 'too much.This is about the only bad thing you can say about this book....
